Things I wish everyone knew about Part 1

Sometimes, ignorance is not bliss (actually, it never is). It makes everyone more impatient, not better, so here is my list of things I wish everyone knew about.

1. Allowing a musician to grow or change is not a bad thing. No one stays the same as they grow up, so why should musicians? If they change their sound, it should not make you dislike them. Asking them to change their sound back is like asking a 65-year old person to be the same person they were at 15.

2. Being able to tell the difference between friend and acquaintance. I do not consider many people as my friend. Friends stick around; acquaintance do not. I am not going to stick around forever.

3. Not taking everything I say to heart. To be honest, I am the meanest, most sarcastic, and pessimistic person you will ever meet. But, if you take things to heart, it is not my fault, (sorry, that sounded mean).

4. Listen. People do not like to listen anymore. It is annoying. So please, save everyone the time and listen.

5. Laugh appropriately. Do not laugh at something that is not funny.

6. Twins are two different people. I have a twin sister, and I let people figure for themselves because it takes longer. Once they figure it out, I am joined at the hip with my sister. By the way, do not call me "twin" or combine our two names together. Do not do that. Put effort into me. I do not call you "girl" or "boy", so do not call me "twin".

7. More money does not make you better. Obnoxious and rich is not a good combination and makes snobby. I do not like snobby people. They are rude, and they think that they are so high and mighty and can make fun of anyone "lower". No, you are equal, sorry.

8. Older does not mean wiser. I cannot stress this enough. Life experience makes you wiser, not how many years you lived.

9. Do not sacrifice someone's happiness for someone else. It happens to me all the time. My dad will yell and punish me to the point where it hurts in order to satisfy my half-sister. He called me fat. His daughter wears the same size waistband as me, and she is 8. What the hell. Do not do that. Happiness is the only thing that gets me going.

10. Anxiety is not cool. I prefer to be relaxed and calm, rather than worrying about everything. Take it slow. Take it easy. Make mistakes.

I apologize if this sounds harsh, but I have been so frustrated lately that I needed an outlet. Thank you for being here and listening to a whiny, complaining teenage girl. If you have any questions, again the email is in of the posts or just comment.

With love,

Violet Sar Bleu

P.S. You have enemies? Good, it means that you stood for something.
