I do not like to wear makeup nor do I like to dress up in my finest gown. I just think that dressing up makes me uncomfortable, and makeup makes me breakout. The only thing you will find in my makeup bag is sunscreen, moisturizer, and my tinted lip balm. That is all I wear. The other reason why I do not wear makeup or like to dress up is because people should like you the way you are. I know the meaning of dress to impress, but in my opinion, that contradicts the idea of image is only skin deep. Of course, I am open to new opinions, so tell me what do you think of it.
To tell you the truth, I believe that I have the worst sense of judgement of people. My mom and sister always told me to trust my gut, and I do. But, whenever I do, it always comes out not so great. My gut is not actually trustable when talking about people. It always changes. However, I think I have an average sense of judgement when it comes to everything else, such as ethics, music, environment, etc.
This statement I am about to say will sound ridiculous to many of you. If you do not like or feel as though you can do better, leave if need be. However, I did not say abandon. Huge difference. Why live in agony if you can live in happieness? If you believe there is a better life for yourself and family, leave. It is a simple as that, but do not abandon any loved ones.
Before I live this life in the suburbs, I spent my days in the rundown areas of Houston and went to the beach in the summer. I basically had nothing other than clothes, food, music, school supplies, and water. That is all I needed, that is all I need now. I did not have any luxury items such as a phone or computer. If I wanted to use a computer, I would go to a library. In the summers of warmth and sun, I was at the beach, everyday, all day with only an extra pair of clothes, bathing suit, and sunscreen. Nowadays, I get to travel to other places other than the beach, but for some reason, I love the beach more. I do not like to be inland. I love the ocean, but the family wants to take prestigious trips. I prefer living in a rundown area than the suburbs because I am happier.
I think the only judgemental paragraph I will have in this post will be this one. Remember, you do not have to read it, but I just want to put it out there. I dislike people who try too hard to be cute. Ok, I get it, you are a nice person, but do you really have to talk in a squeaky high voice which I know is not yours? Do you really? If a person tries to hard to be cute, yeah, they come off as sweet and innocent, but it is not you. If you try to be something you are not, you will end up being unhappy with yourself and do not like yourself. I have done it. I know; I am just trying to save you from doing the same mistake I did.
The whole point of this blog is to not criticize anyone, but to give my insight on society. If I do not say what I believe, I think that people are missing something when they make a judgement. It is not to help myself, but you. I am just trying to say what I think is right and why, and I want people to take it into account. You can disagree with me, but I just want to give you my insight. I never want anyone to get hurt.
Anyway, I love you all. I have not been feeling angry lately, and if I do, it usually just lasts for a couple of days. I guess that is good. Thank you.
