People Say that Drunken Words are Sober Thoughts

I have always been told that drunken words are sober thoughts, but I think that drunken words are either just words or exaggerated sober thoughts. For instance, if someone tells us they love us, it might just be an accident or they exaggerate their feelings for us.

I think people say "sorry" too often. Usually, before, I apologized because someone made me too, not because I wanted too. I thought I was right. Now, when I think about it, I should not have apologized.  Why?, you may ask. I see it as lying, not only to the person, but to myself. That apology did not mean anything. Nowadays, I just apologize if need be because sometimes, I am not sorry for what I did. I will admit to my mistakes, but not say sorry if I do not mean it.

Another word that is said too much is "love". I tend not to use this word often because love is special, but many people will just say it to say it. If someone tells me that they love me, I do not say it back unless it is true. Usually, I just smile and nod my head and thank them. It might seem terrible to say, but people just say it to say it. Also, they get mad at me for not saying it. I will not say anything I do not mean, nor will I give out insults just to say that I do not like a person.

Here is a little story that happened to me at school the other day. I was walking down the hallway where I see this girl insulting people left and right. She said "you're ugly" to a person and "you're annoying" to another person. The people that were insulted were not sad, more confused and angry. She kept insulting everyone that she came across. Then, she reached me and told me that I was fake. For one thing, she had no reason to insult me because we do not know each other. For another reason,  who does she think she is? In what world does she think she lives in? I am brutally honest. I actually wonder where she got that information from. But, instead of shouting at her, I smiled and walked my way to class.

The example above shows that the girl I am speaking about had no reason to insult anyone. I think she was not having a bad day since she has never said a single word to me other than that. So, if she thinks she knows me so well, she should speak to me. Please, do not assume someone's character without speaking to them. It just will not be fair. Not everyone is guilty of this, but save the world from drama and live life :).
