Ranting: I apologize if any of this offends you. I just need to blow off some steam. If I do not, I will go crazy.
School Related: From the teachers, the students, the bus, the school itself, the hallway, it gets frustrating. I know people say that it builds character, but whenever I go to school, I feel as though I am more bitter than I was before. Back then, I could have really care less if someone gives me a little insult. But now, I just feel as though I can just go nuts and blow off steam.
1. People who walk slow in the hallway or stand in pacts: It is so inconvient to just stand in the hallway or walk so slow. Moving is not that hard. If you stand there like a bump on a log, I will get mad. You are standing there, wasting space. Just go to class, you can stand after class.
2. People who do not listen and blame their teacher for failing: There is a reason why your teacher as a degree, and you do not. Teachers teach. If you fail, it is not their fault. Listen, it will save you so much. Keep quiet, pay attention, and it will save us alot.
3. People in the bus who are way too loud: You can talk to your friends and what not, I do not mind. But when you are shouting across the bus, that ticks me off. There is a reason why I put earbuds in my ear; I do not want to hear your voice. And there are some people who will take out my earbuds, I just do not like that.
4. Kids who brag about their money: I do not mind rich people. Some are really nice, but there are some people who thinks they are better than everyone else because they wear Ed Hardy or Giorgio Armani to school on a regular basis and drive a BMW. That does not make you a better person than I am. I know that I am average. Who cares what you got for your birthday? Some people are just asking to get mobbed.
5. People who disrespect others for no reason: I hate these people. Doesn't mean that you play football or baseball does not mean that you can act like you rule the school. You are just another student. You are equal to me and everyone else.
6. Freeloaders: In a group project, homework "help", there is always someone who does nothing and take credit. I do not like that. It makes you look bad, don't do it. Trust me, freeloading takes more effort than actually doing your work.
General Society Things
1. Girls who wear too much makeup: Girls, you can wear makeup, just do not cake on all of your makeup in your makeup drawer. Makeup is to enhance your natural beauty, not cover it up. What if you get married one day? You have to wake up with your makeup free face and your husband has to see that. What are you going to do? Wear makeup to sleep? That would be so bad for your skin.
2. People who assume that people are prejudice towards them even though they are not: You know, those people who are overly sensitive and then blame prejudice for their problems. Example: A guy decided to throw all of his clothing onto the counter while I was checking out my stuff. I said, "Excuse me, but I need to pay my clothes." He scoffed and expected for the cashier to get him checked out. I said, "Look, I know you may be in a hurry but show some consideration." He replied, "Are you just saying because I am black?" Ok, don't throw the prejudice card at me. Don't go assuming what I believe and what do not believe. That is rude. I answered, "Are you just saying that because I am (whatever race)?" He just shut up.
3. People who are rude to the waiter/waitress: He or she works for tips. They should not have to put up with your rudeness. And do not complain to the manager that the waiter/waitress did not do a good job when you did not ask them to do things for you. Not only is this rude and inconsiderate, but the waiter/waitress has to deal with the manager now. That is worse than putting up with you.
4. Overly religious people: I am religiously tolerate, but sometimes people get to worked up over it. Especially Christians. Christians, I love your Christ. Christ, I do not like your Christians. I am a Christian myself, but doesn't mean you are a Christian does not mean you have to refer to Judas or Jesus or Mary or whatever everytime I say something wrong. Really, are you serious? It aggravates me. You can be religious all you want, but when you speak to about your religion every minute, it gets annoying.
5. People who pick out every flaw I have: I know that I am not perfect. That does not mean that you can pick out my dark circles, my bags under my eyes, etc. You are not perfect either, so do not judge every single little detail about my appearance unless you are trying to help me.
6. People who ask for your opinion and get mad at you for saying the "wrong thing": When someone asks about my opinion, I will be honest, but not rude. And if they do not like what I say, I am sorry for not lying. You can never say anything wrong if it is opinionated, there is no such thing as a wrong opinion.
7. The idea that if a girl has one blemish on her face, it makes her unattractive, and a guy can still be attractive if he looks like a pizza face: I know that is mean to say, but it is unfair. What, do you expect us girls to look like Barbie? If you have yet to notice, Barbie is plastic. I am not plastic; I am human. Sorry that I have a little zit on my chin because I was stressed out.
8. Wannabe Hipsters: I am not a hipster. I live a sort of normal life and have to listen to Seattle radio in order to hear songs that are not annoying and somewhat decent. I like bands such as Mumford and Sons, Boy and Bear, Years Around the Sun, Learning Music, Fleet Foxes, Vetiver, and Paper Kites. I also like one person acts such as Youth Lagoon. That does not make me a hipster. I talked to this guy the other day, and he was bragging of how he saw a Fleet Foxes concert right? I love the Fleet Foxes and asked him about it. When I started talking, he could not carry the conversation except for how he is so over wearing brand names. I do not care; you are a poser. Hipster, everyone has their own little definitions. I think a hipster is just a primate specie that is different from homo sapiens who enjoy different things. They can be quirky dressers to wearing all black.
9. People who try to hard to act cute: That is annoying, not cute. It makes you look desperate for attention. If you have to try to make people around you like you, you are not with the right people.
10. Sucicide is considered Brave?: Someone kills themselves, and they are considered brave? I know there are some people who have thought about sucicide and I sympthazied them. But killing yourself is not brave. It is a permanament solution to a temporary problem.
11. Parents who are rude to their kids: If you ever wonder why your kid is acting so bad, check out the way you treat them. I hate it. That is your kid for crying out loud. If you do not love them, give it to someone who will.
12. Kids who are rude to their parents: If you ever wonder why your parents are mean to you, check out your behavior. That is rude, not cool. Your parents brought you into this world, and they can put you out. Remember that.
I think I finally got all of the anger out of system. I apologize if this insults or offends you in any way. Remember, I am only one person, I am not big as an influence. I am sure that some of you know what I am talking about. Please, do not send hate comments, mail, etc.. I do not care for them.
What pushes your buttons? Do you have pet peeves? Are your rant topics similiar to mine?
With Love,
