Questions to Society Part 1

Ok, I think for now, my ranting has ended, but I still hold some questions to some of you. I do not understand why people do those things, so if you can answer any of these questions I have below, please answer them for me. These questions are not your stereotypical one answer questions, but open ended. Please answer, so that I can finally understand.

1. Why is it easier to forgive a kid now then it was 5-10 years ago?
Reason I ask: I used to get in trouble for the smallest things (ex. making a smudge on a window, sleeping late, etc.), but now, when I see my younger relative do the things I get in trouble for, they do not recieve consequences.

2. Why do people care when a Caucasian man/woman kill someone of color, but not when a person of color kills a caucasian man/woman?
Reason I ask: Please do not say that this is not true when it is. I thought people were people, and we are all equal. What makes the difference?

3. Why do some cancers recieve more attention to others?
Reason I ask: Cancer is cancer; many people die from it. I know the differences between the life rates, but cancer kills people.

4. Why do antisocial people are considered weird or odd?
Reason I ask: There are some people in this world that like to be alone, myself included. What does that have to do with our weirdness? Why are social people are not considered weird?

5. Why do people pretend to be nice to people that they dislike/hate?
Reason I ask: It is dishonest to me. It is fake. I know the saying of being polite is well and good, but I just do not get it.

6. Why do people complain about their work and still do it?
Reason I ask: Do what you love. If you do not like it, quit. Why hold on to something that you do not like? I know that you need to pay rent, but if you hate it so much, drop everything and be free.

7. Why do people change?
Reason I ask: I lost so many friends because they change in order to become someone else. It feels as though it was my fault in the first place to cause them to act as so. I do not know.

8. Why do people think that if I have no destination that I am lost?
Reason I ask: My family thinks that I am lost and that I do not where I am going. It is true. I have no destination where I want to be. I am not lost though.

9. Why do people try to please everyone?
Reason I ask: There is no such thing as "one size fits all". Perfection and beauty are in the eyes of the beholder.

10. Why people believe that all women must be Barbie and all men must be Ken?
These names come from famous dolls by Mattel. They are made of plastic. Humans are not plastic, so why do people believe we must be like them or look like them?

That is all the questions I have for today. Again, please answer them for me because I seriously do not know. Remember, these are open ended, and there is no such thing as a wrong answer. If you are a bit shy, just send it to my colleague's email I have posted in other posts. Share me your opinion.

With Love,
Violet Sar Bleu

P.S. Perfection is overrated.

P.S.S. If  you have any other questions to ask, send them to my colleague's email or comment :).
