Things Guys Need to Know About Girls

I saw this idea when I was watching Connor Franta's video for "Things Girls Need to Know About Guys", so I decided to do the reverse version. By the way, he has a new video up, so go watch it because it is pretty funny, as always. Links will be down below.

Girls, you can just sit back and relax. Guys, here are some pointers :).

1. You do not need to be perfect.
As we are not Barbie, we do not expect you to be Ken. I prefer if guys had their own little quirks and imperfections because it makes them more perfect, if that makes any sense.

2. Do not be intimated by us.
We are human, just like you. We get intimated by you also, so just come up to us and talk to us.

3. If you have an awkward pause in the conversation, you can go two routes, keep a comfortable silence or you can start a conversation about movies or music.
We like our quiet time and do not need a conversation to keep carry on. But, if you really want to, ask about movies, music, tv shows, etc. because it is a no brainer. She will talk to you, and it will not be that awkward.

4. We like food too.
I know my friends who are guys love food, but we do too. Seriously, give me $500 worth of food and I would do anything, except anything illegal.

5. Start a debate.
Lets be honest. We all love being right, and a debate, not a full on argument, keeps a conversation going. Do not worry, we will not hate you. It actually shows that you are intelligent and socially aware.

6. Teasing is all in good fun.
My friends and I love teasing each other. I do not know why. It is fun, and do not take any offense to it. It is all in good fun, and it just shows that she actually likes you as a person.

7. Friend zone is an unhappy place for us too.
Everyone gets friend zoned at least one time in our lives, even us girls. Shocker. We are in it with you, guys, so don't worry, we will get through it together.

8. As much as you, guys, hate hearing us talk about our ex-boyfriends, it is just as awkward for us to hear about your ex-girlfriends. It is just weird and uncomfortable, and do not say that it is not true. We all love to talk about people.

9. Hugs are nice :).
Make fun of me all you want, but there is nothing better than getting a hug from your father, grandfather, uncle, or guy friend. It is better than a girl, and I do not know why. So yes, hugs are welcomed.

10. Please do not bring up PMS. It is uncomfortable and do not assume that we are on it when we are not. When I am on my period, I usually do not feel agitated, I just feel sleepy and tired. Every girl's symptoms are different, so do not assume.
