Whenever I rant, or say a snipbid, I usually record it. Why? To anaylze what keeps making me mad, and what I should not worry about. Plus, they are kind of funny. Because let's be honest, when some complains about how stupid people are about the dumbest things, it pretty funny :). But do not worry, my ranting has become lower and lower, which is a good thing.
In my school, there are three types of people. People who I like, people who I don't mind, and people who I just do not like. Hopefully, you all feel the same way, but I never say those types of things.
Have you ever notice that what you think is totally different from what you say? Our brain produces thoughts that go 100 mph, but our mouths prevent us from actually saying those things. For instance, someone was talking badly about a dear friend of mine who they barely know. My thoughts were as followed (beware: very harsh). Thoughts said, "Listen here, you jerk. I do not care who you are, but apparently, you have no life but to talk about my friend. At least she/he has some other interest other than talking about others. Get a life. Also, did your parents teach you anything? I guess not. So, do not get mad if I 'accidentally' bury you alive. Do you prefer wood or metal? With wood, I can burn you. With metal, I can roast, fry, grill, however you want to be cooked. So, stop talking about my friend, or you will just get beaten so hard that the Count Censor Video will be in your head for the rest of your life". You see how twisted and mean I am. It is not good, but what are you going to do? My words are, "Can you stop? That's my friend, and can you stop talking about them?" Short, sweet, but not effective.
I mean when a mean person asks if they are nice, and you want to cough yes, but instead you say the go-to replies of "sure, ok, yeah, fine". All that jazz right there.
So remember people, it is perfectly fine to talk with your brain, and stand up to yourself. Do not be a wimp, like me. Sounds hypocritical, but be the bigger person.
With love,
Violet Sar Bleu
